Knaïve Theatre was formed in order to tour 'Bin Laden: The One Man Show' to the USA. After that we became supported artists at the Royal Exchange Theatre (Manchester) and received regular project funding from Arts Council England between 2015 and 2021. This allowed us to  mount multiple national and international tours. We recieved multiple awards and critical success during that time.

Unfortunately, changing Arts Council priorities and reduced arts funding post Covid made it increasingly difficult to continue as a project funded, small scale touring company and the founders closed the company in 2025 to move on to other things. 

We are both still immensely proud of everything we achieved with the company and all the adventures it took us on.
